Approximately 420,000 children have lost their mothers.
Around 1,330,000 children have lost their fathers.
Roughly 402,500 children have lost both parents.


The number of orphans in Uganda is a significant concern. These children often face numerous challenges, including poverty, lack of access to education and healthcare, and increased vulnerability to abuse and exploitation. Supporting orphans and vulnerable children is crucial for ensuring their well-being and breaking the cycle of poverty.
